A couple of basics here include using Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs). This allows you to continue using basic analog handsets if you DO NOT have a PBX or key system at your business.

You Want To Keep Your
Existing Business Phone System Too?

If you have a PBX or small key system and would like to keep using it, so as not to have to buy new equipment, we can use an integrated VoIP service and still end up with “VoIP Business Phones”

The basics of integrated service are similar to the residential “Double Play” where we buy both internet and voice service (dial tone) from a single provider. So by using integrated T1 service, we realize most all the advantages of VoIP, mainly using our internet pipe to deliver low cost voice service, as well as reduced long distance and regulatory charges (taxes). And we don’t even have to buy an IP PBX or IP handset, we still end up with VoIP Business Phones ! I love this VoIP Stuff!

Most providers will even include the “Magic Box” required to split out the voice service from the internet connection, so we don’t have to buy any additional equipment.
